The story behind the man
Just weeks before his nineteenth birthday, Tahan survived a violent robbery attempt that nearly claimed his life. During the incident, he was shot five times, sustaining injuries to the left side of his head, left ear, left shoulder, upper back, and right bicep.
The attack left lasting physical effects, including significant hearing loss in his left ear. For someone whose life had become deeply connected to music, the injury presented challenges that might have discouraged many from pursuing a career in audio, production, or composition. Instead, the experience became a defining moment. Reflecting on the event years later, Tahan stated, “That night changed my life forever.”
Tahan later studied Music Business and Entertainment Business at Full Sail University.
His current work connects Film Score Composition and Record Production with sync licensing, music publishing, creator ownership, entrepreneurship, and entertainment technology through ProducerLife.

His broader career spans more than 20 years in the music industry, including work across music production, A&R, creative direction, artist development, publishing, licensing, and the business of music. His television and film screen-music career began in 2014.
